Dr Robinson is an associate professor of Pediatrics and Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a pediatric cardiologist at Lurie Children’s Hospital. His interests include clinical-translational research, medical education, non-invasive cardiac imaging and cardiovascular service line development with the overall goal to improve health outcomes for children with cardiovascular disease. His research goal is to expand the use of cardiac imaging in patients with pediatric and congenital heart disease in order to gain insights into mechanisms of disease progression, reduce the need for costly, invasive procedures and improve clinical outcomes.  As a medical director and NIH funded investigator, he has significant experience with study design, clinical trial recruitment, database architecture, digital health strategy and clinical process improvement. As an academic section head, he is invested in graduate medical education, faculty mentorship, professional coaching and program development.
