We Are Saddened by the Loss of Terry Needham

The ARDMS community is saddened that Terry Needham, MA, RVT, FSVU, longtime volunteer subject matter expert passed away on December 9^th, 2021.  Terry began his ARDMS volunteerism in the early 1990’s with the Vascular Physics Examination Development Committee and went on to become its Chair from 2003-2007.  Terry was a member of the Task Force for the development of the Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) examination that launched in 2009. Terry was a brilliant teacher in the area of vascular physics and technology and brought a great sense of humor and wry wit to otherwise dry and difficult subject areas.  His contributions to the vascular community and ARDMS will never be forgotten.
