Lowering Your Risk for Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSD) Webinar

Webinar Description:

ARDMS is proud to present Lowering Your Risk for Work-Related Musculoskeletal Disorders (WRMSD). This webinar will provide a brief update on the 2021 longitudinal survey of all ultrasound users and discuss the reported rate of musculoskeletal discomfort, headaches, and eye strain.  The reported rate of 86% of participants working in pain represents a continued risk for career ending injury, among sonographers and vascular technologists.

The moderator and panelists will cover some specific ergonomic dimensions and contextual ways to reduce the risk of WRMSD.  Areas of focus that continue to need risk reduction are equipment personalization, computer workstation customization, and administrative support.  54% of the 2021 survey respondents, indicated that they completed ergonomics training however our moderator and panelists will work to not only increase that total but also nest it in every day sonographic practice.

This event is eligible for one (1) free waived CME!*

Once you’ve watched the webinar, please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey to receive your one (1) waived CME credit!*

Post webinar surveys submitted between 12/27 and 12/31 will be uploaded by 1/9/2024 and will count towards CMEs earned in 2023. Post webinar surveys submitted after 12/31 will not be accepted towards a waived CME.
